Choose a restaurant by the meal you want and the part of the city you are visiting. Start with Junglighat, then explore the city or save the island options for later in your trip.
Icy Spicy — Junglighat
A useful first option in the hotel’s wider neighbourhood for vegetarian dining. Icy Spicy (opens in a new tab) lists its Junglighat restaurant at Island Arcade, opposite SBI, with Indian, Chinese and Italian dishes, sweets and an eggless bakery. Find the Junglighat outlet on Maps (opens in a new tab).
Annapurna — Aberdeen Bazaar
Consider Annapurna (opens in a new tab) on MG Road for vegetarian South Indian food during a bazaar visit. Find Annapurna on Maps (opens in a new tab).
New Lighthouse — Marina Park area
For a seafood meal on a waterfront outing, New Lighthouse Restaurant (opens in a new tab) is listed on MS Road by Marina Park. Ask about the day’s fish, crab or lobster options and confirm the price before ordering. Find New Lighthouse on Maps (opens in a new tab).
Amaya — Marine Hill
For a rooftop dinner, Amaya at SeaShell (opens in a new tab) has views over the Andaman Sea. Find Amaya on Maps (opens in a new tab).
Dining on Havelock and Neil
If your itinerary includes Swaraj Dweep (Havelock), consider Bonova for a restaurant and bar stop. On Shaheed Dweep (Neil), Dugong is another option. Both are listed on SeaShell’s dining page (opens in a new tab).
Find Bonova on Havelock (opens in a new tab) or Dugong on Neil (opens in a new tab). These restaurants are on other islands and require inter-island travel from Port Blair.
Before you go
Check current hours, menus and table availability directly with the restaurant. Confirm dietary requirements when ordering. Use Maps for the route from the hotel; travel times vary with traffic.
For a meal at the hotel, see Ambika’s dining amenities. For a stop before dinner, explore things to do in Port Blair.
